Spring 2009

The Panthers U9 team will begin practice Friday, April 17, at Ford Heritage Park. The Practice will run from 6:00-7:00 on field 8. The following week, practice will be on Thursday, April 23, at Burns Park in Ypsilanti (off of Hewitt just south of the High School) because I'll be out of town on Friday the 24th for my brother's wedding. If we want to go back to FHP for the rest of the season, we will go back to Fridays, but if people would prefer to stay at Burn's Park, practices can be Thursdays of Fridays.

The first game of the season is Saturday April 25. I don't have the times yet, and I'll be out of town that week for the wedding, so I'd ask that another parent run the game that week.

I'll pass out shirts, socks, and schedules as soon as I get them.

Schedule for the fall

The schedule I have for the fall is as follows. All the games are at 9:30 on field 8. Our team will be blue and we'll have the shirts next week at practice.
9-20 vs Maroon Rhinos
9-27 vs Orange Penguins
10-4 vs Navy Cougars
10-11 vs Maroon Rhinos
10-18 vs Orange Penguins
10-25 vs Navy Cougars

Practice Info

Practices this fall will take place at Burns' Park in Ypsilanti. The park is located on Burns Road which is south of the High School off of Hewitt about half way between Packard and Congress. I don't have info about the schedule yet, but I should have that soon and will let you know as soon as I find out. It is my understanding that the team will wear royal blue shirts, but that hasn't been confirmed yet. I should have them soon and will pass them out at practice before the first game. The first practice will be this Friday, Sept. 12 at 5:30.
